As mentioned above, we operate a principle of least privilege and this is extended to the third party organisations we use in order to process data more efficiently. Our use of third parties will have no express effect on you or your data as we only allow organisations to process your data on our behalf if they have the relevant security protocols in place and confirm that your data will only be used for the sole purposes as expressed by HeadStart Primary.

  • MachForm – order and contact forms on our website are built using MachForm
  • Ecwid – orders are processed via our Ecwid storefront
  • PayPal – payments are processed via PayPal (credit card data is not stored)
  • ParcelForce – we share your contact details and address with ParcelForce when shipping orders
  • MailChimp – all email data are held by MailChimp (MailChimp also collect IP addresses but these are not used by MailChimp or HeadStart Primary)
  • Sage accounting software – used for creating invoices for orders
How do we use cookies?

We use cookies across our website to improve its performance and enhance your user experience. We do not use third party retargeting cookies on our website, but we do use Google Analytics to help us monitor our website traffic.

We do allow third parties to place cookies within our emails and advertisement campaigns. We use MailChimp as our email distribution client. MailChimp places cookies within each email in order to report on whether a subscriber opens an email or clicks a button within an email. These reports inform our future campaigns to ensure that we distribute information that is valid and relevant to our subscribers. We also use MailChimp to create and monitor our Facebook advertisement campaigns; to this end MailChimp collects cookies to monitor how many Facebook users interact with our advertisements.

          Whilst we do all we can to protect your personal data, sometimes breaches happen.

          In the event of a breach, we will notify any person whose personal data has been affected within 24 hours of HeadStart being made aware. Any data breaches will be responded to with the utmost urgency and persons will be updated about the progress of securing their data.
